I had been worried about a possible bedbug infestation for two weeks. I saw some signs that there were bugs around, but couldn't find any bugs. I was really going crazy with the uncertainty, and I couldn't do anything about it because most exterminators won't put pesticide down without proof that there are bugs. So I called Mike and he brought his dog Badger over and went over the entire apartment. Badger alerted to three spots in the bedroom, including the night table, meaning that he smelled live bed bugs or bed bug eggs there. Mike said the problem seemed like it was in its very early stages. After he left my girlfriend and I tore the night table apart looking for whatever it was he smelled, and sure enough there were three tiny bed bug eggs way on the back of the drawer. It was unbelievable that the dog could smell them from over a foot away, behind wood. I would never have noticed them on my own. Even a professional exterminator looking with a flashlight would never have seen anything, and I would have had to wait for weeks until the problem got worse before I could do anything about it.
In addition, Mike was incredibly friendly and helpful, and gave me lots of advice on what to do. Now I can hurry up and get an extermination before the problem gets out of control. If you think you might have an infestation, I would definitely recommend this service. I am blown away by how sensitive the dog was, and incredibly grateful that a service like this exists in my area and is affordable.
